Physical
Therapists (PT) evaluate and
treat children with difficulties
achieving gross motor skills. Gross motor skills include rolling,
sitting, crawling, and standing. PTs, along with the family and child
set
functional goals and will assist the family/child in achieving these
goals. PTs also assist the families
with acquiring needed functional
equipment.
The PTs at NWAPTS are skilled at
casting
for Ankle Foot
Orthosis (foot braces) that assist children with balance and with
learning
proper walking patterns.
